The Mill House interior has been completely stripped, removing wall render which has revealed the original flint ‘skeleton’ that holds this beautiful building together. However, we have also uncovered an immense amount of damage caused by rot, infestation, decay and water damage. These issues will all need to be addressed and rectified before we can proceed.
During renovations, some interesting discoveries were made. In one of the rooms a well was uncovered which it is believed to have once been used by smugglers.
