Though previously inhabited, the Cottage is found to be in a very poor state of repair. Broken roof tiles and poorly installed uPVC windows have led to water ingress and damage from damp.
The roof has been completely stripped, insulated and re-tiled. Chimney stacks have been re-pointed.
Inside, the interior walls have been removed and a new concrete floor laid throughout. During the renovation process, evidence of a building that pre-dates the floorplan of the existing cottage has been found.
